Giant Space Lizard! is the website for Thompkins, Chaerb and friends to upload entertaining and/or confusing things to the internet. They makes no promises about the ratio of entertaining to confusing. Sometimes these things have been PDF files, which they refer to as “illustrated eBooks,” and sometimes these things have been sequential series of JPEGs, which they refer to as “webcomics.” There’s a lot of it, and it’s all pretty weird, so it can be a bit intimidating…

Thompkins!
Thompkins was found by his parents under a rock in the swamps behind their home in Minnesota. They placed him in a glass terrarium and fed him a diet of crickets and nightcrawlers, allowing him to grow into vaguely human form and speech patterns.

In the late 90s Thompkins became internet famous for making a series of bargain bin Pac-Man ripoffs. He used the ill-gotten gains from this endeavor to get a degree from a bleeding heart liberal arts school. When the lawyers found out about this, Thompkins barely escaped the video game industry with his life. He then went to work repairing refrigerators that inspect circuit boards. It was hoped that he was pacified by the comparatively large salary and free time for dating human females.

However it became clear the threat was not neutralized when, in 2008, Thompkins went on the move again, motivated by the desire to produce art and science. He registered the domain GiantSpaceLizard.com and began posting comics so dangerous they had previously only been shown at weddings. Fleeing strict regulations in the north, Thompkins moved to Georgia where he became that most hated of all professions - a graduate student. If we are to believe the rumors, he is currently working on developing both super-soldier and mind-reading technologies.

Chaerb!
Chaerb, often noted by his anti-hipster like love of things only after they have become mainstream, continues to adventure along with Thompkins on as many indie projects that you wouldn’t have heard about as possible. When not making internet comics and eBooks, Chaerb has varied his career choices by working oppressively long hours making video games and working oppressively long hours making newspaper internet sites. Currently, he has somehow managed to work his way into the second most hated profession - middle management at an established corporate entity.

In his free time, Chaerb enjoys plotting how to best utilize Thompkins’ scientific knowledge for capitalistic gains at the expense of the greater good. Also, making organic herbal treatments for purse dogs. Double also, plotting how to use organic herbal treatments for purse dogs for capitalistic gains at the expense of the greater good.
