Todd Blake: Remember. You said that you were going to prove something or other about women. So we’re going to get you hooked up.

Xavier Bentley: Yeah man. You’ve been embarrassingly womanless since either of us has known you.

Rob Kestler: What about Betty?

Todd Blake: No. Blow up Betty doesn’t count.

Ah yes, Rob Kestler. This character has been around for roughly a decade by this point, always in written format. This is the first time that we’ve taken him into the visual realm and so far I like the choice of art style and the first storyline. The Kestler universe never takes itself seriously and to see this in comic format will be interesting. It’s the same kind of gitty glee I had when Thompkins first showed me the Wagner comic.
