Bryan Orion: Our boss hired you?

Vagrond: Not what you were expecting from a lizard, huh?

Bryan Orion: Um…no…I mean GSL are usually so…

[[Vagrond points at his t-shirt.]]

Vagrond: Yeah, mostly eggheads. Well, me too kind of …

Vagrond: I almost graduated from Alpha Centauri!

Note that this a lambda on Vagrond’s shirt, as in (l)izard, not an alpha. The real reason is because it looks better. The in-story reason will be explained later.
